What is TOVA? TOVA is an AI-powered video-enhancement service. It combines upscaling, frame interpolation, denoising, and sharpening models to turn low-quality footage into high-definition video.
Is processing done on-device or in the cloud? All heavy computation runs on GPU servers; your device only uploads the source file and downloads the finished result, so even low-end phones can produce high-quality output.
Which videos benefit most? Clips that are ≤1080 p, have frame drops, or contain heavy noise/shake show the greatest improvement. Footage already shot in 4 K HDR may see only marginal gains.
Who is TOVA best suited for? TOVA is perfect for creators who lack a high-end GPU PC but still want to improve video quality and color. Users on low-spec laptops or smartphones can enjoy desktop-class enhancements without buying extra software. It’s also cost-effective for anyone needing to upgrade a small number of clips.

2. Supported Formats & Limits

Which codecs and containers are supported? Input: H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC, VP9, ProRes (mov/mp4/mkv, etc.) Output: H.264/MP4 by default; HEVC available in Settings.
What are the max resolution and length? • Resolution: Up to 2 K input → up to 4 K output.
Does TOVA enhance audio too? Not yet; audio is passed through untouched.

4. Using the App

How long does processing take? Roughly 2–3 minutes of server time per 1 minute of source video, depending on server load, model, and plan (premium vs. free).
Is the “stretch bug” fixed? Yes—v 2.2.5 improved aspect-ratio detection. If stretching persists, send the original file and app version to support.
